Description Daniel Holbach 2006-07-04 09:04:01 UTC
Regardless of content evolution 2.7.3 (e-d-s 1.7.3) crashes on sending gpg signed mails. Backtrace is at: http://daniel.holba.ch/ubuntu/evo.backtrace (bugzilla thought it was too long).
Comment 1 André Klapper 2006-07-04 23:36:20 UTC
hi daniel! hmm, does not happen for me with 2.7.3. no idea how to find out something here... :-/
Comment 2 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2006-07-30 00:00:06 UTC
It's the same for me with evolution 2.7.90 and e-d-s 1.7.90.1 but only happens for me if I click cancel on the password dialog or typed the password wrong the first time.
Comment 3 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2006-07-30 00:12:36 UTC
My backtrace is the same btw
Comment 4 Veerapuram Varadhan 2006-07-31 10:12:15 UTC
I think its a dup of Bug #334848. Can anyone try the fix attached to that bug? TIA :)
Comment 5 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2006-07-31 12:50:08 UTC
Doesn't fix it for me... the patch there only affects SMIME anyway from what I see

Do you have gnome-keyring installed and compiled evolution-data-server with --enable-gnome-keyring support?

And, is your gpg - passphrase stored in gnome-keyring?
Comment 7 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2006-07-31 18:57:47 UTC
It is compiled with --enable-gnome-keyring and I will never store my gpg passphrase anywhere else than in my head ;)

Sebastian: Can you see whether this one fixes your issue? Will attach a more-proper one little later.

Doesn't fix it :(
Comment 10 André Klapper 2006-08-01 15:00:49 UTC
this is definitely a duplicate of bug 346740 (exactly the same stacktrace and line numbers) and srini has also attached a patch *there*. please move further discussion over there. thanks. :-)
