"I'm trying to synchronise my gaim buddylist with evolution via edit->preferences->mail preferences->automatic contacts, then hitting "synchronise with buddylist now".

When I hit the button no contacts are synchronised to evolution. I tried closing and opening evolution and still nothing.

I'm expecting all of my gaim contacts nicknames, and IM details to be imported to evolution.

I'm using evolution 2.6.1-0ubuntu7 and gaim 1:1.5.0+1.5.1cvs20051015-1ubuntu10"

Not a duplicate, restarting evolution makes no difference

i guess it's a dup and that restarting does not change anything - see bug 338710 comment 21, which i still consider to be the same reason for this.
