GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 346143
Contacts do not show up in contact list.
Last modified: 2006-06-29 00:17:23 UTC
Please describe the problem: Especially newly added contacts do not show up in contact list. The contacts are there somewhere: I am sure of this because if I try to add the contact again, it brings up the "Duplicate Contact Detected" dialog box. Its just that they are not being displayed in the "Contacts" section or the "Select Contacts from Adderss Book" dialog. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open an email that is from a new contact (new as in you do not have that contact in your contacts list) 2. Right click on the email address that you do not have in your addressbook, and select "Add to Address Book". Proceed to add the contact to your address book. 3. Compose a new email. Click on the "To" button. This brings up the "Select Contacts from Adderss Book" dialog. 4. Try to find the newly added contact in the list. Actual results: The newly added email is not in the list of contacts Expected results: All added contacts should show up in the contact list. Does this happen every time? Yes. Sometime, the contact will show up in the lists after a few days! Other information: Using exchange connector
