Description Alison Rowland 2006-06-28 18:46:13 UTC
Standard alphabetization practice is to ignore "the," "a," and "an" at the beginning of titles, and instead alphabetize by the next word. So, for example, "The Magnetic Fields" should go under M, not T.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

As discussed on the bug, doing it on specific words has serious problems with non-English languages, and using "sort tags" like the ones that MusicBrainz provides is a much better solution.
