Description Bastien Nocera 2006-06-24 13:41:14 UTC
Looks like some weird detection of WMP. J5 was interested in the support.

The code in http://www.cnn.com/video/portable/scripts/video.js shows that it special cases msie, and machines with the "Flip4Mac" plugin, but still works fine with any plugin that handles application/x-mplayer2 (which means we work just fine :)

In the trial version though, you'll get cut off after 3 minutes, and you'll get the crappy message about an empty playlist. I filed that as bug 350456.

The rest is just missing Javascript handling, in bug 343007
