Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but the maintainers need more information to fix the bug. 

Could you please send a stacktrace with xine-lib's debugging info to the other report? 
The page http://www.gnome.org/projects/totem/#bugs has informations on how to do so in the  section "Backend: Xine bug".
