GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 345224
Multiple track selection does not work well together with keyboard shortcuts
Last modified: 2010-01-24 01:07:03 UTC
If 2 tracks are selected for control (e.g. Headphone & Master) mixer does not play nice with keyboard shortcuts, because the keyboard shortcuts only change the master volume. If in mixer two tracks are selected mixer should automatically update the other track as well
Current behaviour is to display the average. Really, this is a keybindings bug. Most people would just want the keybindings and the applet to control the same thing.
The applet notices that "somebody" is changing the volume, why don't we let the applet change the other selected volume (e.g. headphones) as well in this case? Otherwise other applications have to check if the volume applet is running and what it's settings are.
Which keyboard shortcuts do you mean? The big ones on the top of your keyboard? If you mean what I'm talking about here: http://davyd.livejournal.com/183980.html Then I think this is a dup of bug 173035.
Yes it's the same as bug 173035 Resolving it as a duplicate *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 173035 ***
