ein proxy ist keine vertretung, hoechstens ein zwischenspeicher. aber selbst in diesem falle wuerde ich proxy auf keinen fall uebersetzen - hier versteht doch kein normaler deutschsprechender user, was das programm von ihm will!

uebersetzt proxy ja schlieslich auch nicht, und wir wollen doch konsistenz. ;-)

Bei GroupWise steht "Proxy" für Personen, die während deiner Abwesenheit/Nichterreichbarkeit deine Mails bearbeiten dürfen. Im Deutschen ist das eine Vertretung. Ein Proxy-Server ist in diesem Fall nicht gemeint ... ;)

anyway, i don't expect *every* translator to be such wise, so i'm changing this to an evolution bug... ;-)
