Description Filip Miletic 2006-06-13 16:39:49 UTC
I use three different keyboard layouts in daily work. When the screen is locked and I need to enter a password to reclaim the X session I have no way of knowing which keyboard layout is active, thus whether the keys I press produce the appropriate letter of the password. For instance, if the cyrillic keyboard layout was active when the screen was locked, any password that I would type would be wrong.

I suggest a solution similar to the Caps Lock warning at password entry: the entry dialog should also contain the keyboard layout indicator.

I'd guess this is a gnome-screensaver issue, since it controls the unlock dialog. Passing there. If I'm wrong, please pass back.
