Julien Louis provided a patch to permit the build of gnome-python-extras against xulrunner in Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/368273.  I'll attach it here, would be nice if you could comment on it.

Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the patch, it was committed verbatim to CVS.  Unfortunately I don't have xulrunner on my system, so couldn't really test it, but it looks ok.  I assume the patch was tested in debian...

Yes it was tested under Debian sid.  We might revert the change temporarily, just the time to solve a circular build-dep, but we intend to ship with it.

I tested the resulting gtkmozembed with the example from the documentation and it worked fine for python2.3 and 2.4.
