Description Andy Somerville 2006-06-10 02:58:53 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When a title is long and causes text on title bar to go beyond screen width, maximize fails as well as some other window behavior.

This is often seen while listening to internet radio because they tend to use up the title space.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a stream from www.di.fm
2. ???
3. Profit

Actual results:
Title messes up the windowing behavior

Expected results:
shouldnt

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
This may be though of as an X or window manager bug perhaps, but can be fixed on the rhythmbox side by limiting the amount of text which goes to the title bar based on screen width.

On second look, it is apparently not the window title where the problem is originates. It appears that it is the title that is displayed just above the progress bar which seems to make the minimum window size larger than the screen width. Certainly not a X or window manager bug.
