"1. Open Dapper RC System Log Viewer app
2. Display any log
3. Enter any filter text
4. Select one or more remaining log entries
5. Select Edit/Copy
6. Paste text into any editor

The text pasted IS NOT the text that was selected / copied.

This fault occurs only when a filter is active. Clear the filter and copy function works."

Confirmed with System Log Viewer 2.14.0 on Ubuntu Dapper.

The bug still exists in gnome-utils version 2.20.0.1, and it's been almost 2 years since original bug report. Isn't it an embarrassment?

Confirmed on 8.10 alpha6 64-bit gnome-utils 2.24.0.

If the filter displays say 5 entries, the first 5 entries of the unfiltered log are copied.

This is fixed in trunk now.
