GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 343062
nautilus displays wrong file size if server lists as "-lh"
Last modified: 2008-09-06 19:03:17 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/bugs/45988 "Nautilus displays wrong file sizes when the ftp server is setted as ListOptions "-lh" where h is --human-readable, ie 1kb instead of just 1000. Nautilus seems not to understand this and display file size as bites, ie 1b instead of 1kb, 1Mb, etc. see http://ubuntuforums.org/gallery/files/5/7/5/0/6/nautilus-wrong-filesize_original.png Matteo"
gnome-vfs has been deprecated and superseded by gio/gvfs since GNOME 2.22, hence mass-closing many of the gnome-vfs requests/bug reports. This means that gnome-vfs is NOT actively maintained anymore, however patches are still welcome. If your reported issue is still valid for gio/gvfs, please feel free to file a bug report against glib/gio or gvfs. @Bugzilla mail recipients: query for gnome-vfs-mass-close to get rid of these notification emails all together.
