Hi Paolo,

On updating to Fedora Core 5 and Gnome 2.14 I found that crossfading had been added to gThumb. This is a nice feature, but there are times when I don't wish to have it activated. I was unable to find any option in the preferences or in gconf to disable it. So I gave it a shot and wrote a patch against current CVS. I'm not much of a C coder so hopefully I haven't missed anything blatantly obvious.

Thanks for the efforts on gThumb. It's an app I use almost daily.
