GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 341308
Doesn't connect to WPA1 network after several restarts
Last modified: 2008-08-16 03:22:51 UTC
Please describe the problem: From: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/37348 use a WPA1/Personal secured WLAN. After installing network-manager and rebooting, the applet asked for my WPA key and connected, stored the key into the gnome keyring: everything just fine. But when I reboot a few times, NM asks for my keyring pass as normal, but then fails to connect and asks me for a key again. I enter the key and it fails again, asks again... I can reboot now, same thing. WLAN won't work until I manually remove the gnome keyring stuff and give WPA key and keyring password again. It will then work fine again, but the same thing will happen again after about 5 restarts Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
