GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 341011
When connecting to an AP, changing the type of key clears the key entered
Last modified: 2006-09-17 13:13:39 UTC
Please describe the problem: From: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/40234 "I just connected to a WEP AP and entered in the 24 character hex key. After doing so, I realised it was set to 'Passphrase' so changed it to 'Hex' and it cleared away the passphrase." Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: "I would have expected it to keep it there because the times when one would want it cleared it would take a lot less time to delete it than it takes to re-enter it when one has chosen the incorrect type." Does this happen every time? Happens every time Other information:
I don't think this warrents "fixing"
