Description Giacomo Perale 2006-05-02 23:01:57 UTC
Please describe the problem:
gnome-terminal starts with a tab size of 80x24. if you open more tabs (one
should be enough) and then close them, the last remaining tab/window doesn't
resize to 80x24 but change his size to 80x26, and repeating the series of
actions you obtain 80x28, 80x30, etc. etc.

this problem happens with gnome-terminal 2.14.1; with gnome-terminal 2.14.0 the
last tab had size 80x26 but if you opened other tabs all of them had the currect
size 80x24

gnome-terminal 2.12.x worked flawlessy, tabs were always 80x24 unless you
changed them manually

Steps to reproduce:
1. launch gnome-terminal
2. open a new tab
3. close the new tab

Actual results:
the remaining tab is 80x24 characters large

Expected results:
the remaining tab should be 80x24

Does this happen every time?
yes
