Description Thomas Thurman 2006-04-19 16:13:01 UTC
As discussed in bug 99335, bug 150669 and bug 130632:

"If nobody else on the usability team is willing to make the call, I'd be
happy to support anyone who wanted to make "Ctrl-Alt-Del [in metacity]
= System monitor with a prominent logout button" :)"

So it would be helpful for gnome-system-monitor to have a logout button.

I'll attach a patch in a moment.

Patch to add logout button

Adds a logout button. This also requires a patch to gnome-panel, which I'll put in a separate bug presently.

The related bug in gnome-panel is bug 339049. You need to add both patches in order for this to work.

any news ?
Comment 4 Chris Kühl 2011-02-26 21:44:02 UTC
Is the usability team still interested in have this?
Comment 5 Robert Roth 2011-11-26 21:08:56 UTC
I think this can be closed as wontfix, as there did't seem to be a lot of interest in this issue based on the 5 years of silence (apart from the questions trying to break the silence)
