Description Sven Herzberg 2006-04-16 14:51:59 UTC
If I select a cell and start typing text, gnumeric provides a completion suggestion based upon the data from the column.

If I press F2 over a cell and start editing text, gnumeric doesn't provide a completion.

IMHO it should provide a completion suggestion for this case too.

Apparently this is not by accident:
In wbc-gtk-edit.c:
if (cursorp && /* autocompletion code will not work in the edit line */

It seems you need to either just type or click in the edit line to get auto completion.

If you type F2 or double click on a cell you do not get autocompletion.
