right now the combobox under the playback windows, on which one has to select the current project does not seem to have any use besides that.

the fact that one has to select the timeline to be able to play it is also
strang.

solution: remove combobox, and select timeline as soon as a clip is added.

Done the first step, which is the viewer will automatically switch to the timeline when:
_ you drag a source to the timeline
_ you click in the ruler to seek

I wonder if that's enough ...
