GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 337135
any attempt to use hue/color/saturation tools crashes due to fonts...
Last modified: 2008-01-15 13:06:36 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. open any file, select tools: hue/saturation, or any color tool and you get a crash message. 2. 3. Stack trace: the worst part here is understanding what in the world I need to do to get a stack trace. I understand WHAT it is. but what is "fedora" and "SUSE" and all that? I'm not a computer wiz and I imagine most of the people who use this program aren't. Tell me precisely what I need to do and I can do that, but the so-called instructions aren't very instructive at all. it's all greek to me. little help here. Other information: the error shown is -- pango-WARNING (recursed)**. Couldn't load font "MS sans serif 8" falling back to "sans 8" aborting... -- I imagine this is an easy fix. got me as to what to do about it, though.
You could at least try to read the FAQ (http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/faq.html) before you report a problem that has been reported hundreds of times already. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 112401 ***
