Description Vidar Braut Haarr 2006-04-04 01:50:22 UTC
With the most recent gnome-terminal (2.14.0, Ubuntu Dapper) and gnome-panel (2.14.0, Ubuntu Dapper), compiling Mozilla CVS makes the buttons in the window list jump around like crazy if you have the

ac_add_options --enable-xterm-updates

option in your ~/.mozconfig and the window list is not full (that is, there is room for the buttons to expand a bit). I have the minimum size set to 50 and the maximum size set to 4096. I have no idea if those are the defaults or not, but regardless, the buttons should not jump around like that.

What you must understand is that it is not only the gnome-terminal window button that changes width - even if it is the rightmost one, all the previously opened window buttons to the left of it also jiggle about, making the whole thing look quite silly, like some wild progress bar of window buttons not sure if it's coming or going.

Hm, guessing this is a dupe of bug 310809 - sorry about that.
