hiding folders does not work if .hidden is a link

Please describe the problem: I have a link /.hidden -> /foo/.hidden. Nautilus is not able to read the contents of the target, and no folders are hidden. If I change /.hidden to be a proper file, things work like they should. Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
Confirming this, I also don't like this behavior. :-(
