Description Dominik Schnitzer 2006-03-27 14:20:46 UTC
In the list view it's currently impossible to select multiple folders/files
using the mouse. This comes from the fact that the whole row for a file/folde is
mouse sensitive. (You can click everywhere in a file entry row to open the file
even on the Modification Date..)

If only the first column (or even better: only the icon and file name) of the
list view would be mouse sensitive one could easily select multiple files and
folders.

Currently everytime you try to "rectangle-select" multiple items in the list
view, you drag the first item into the void :-) (Rectangle-selection is
currently possible if you resize the window to find an empty spot.)

BTW, I use the nautilus-action "Open in Terminal" quite heavy. If this one would
be fixed. One could use "Open in Terminal" for a list-view folder too. (Which is
currently impossible too.

To sum it up - It would be really cool if this could be fixed! :-)
