Description Flavio 2006-03-21 23:50:06 UTC
Please describe the problem:
while changing accounts for a transaction already recorded before,
gnucash will ask if you want to save your changes before moving on to a
new transaction, which you can then answer by yes, and additionally tick
a checkbox that says "remember my answer and don't ask me again".

this does not change, even when the checkbox is ticked, it will ask over and
over again. notice it does only happen when you click on another transaction and
not when you hit enter, which saves the current transaction

Steps to reproduce:
1. open any register with editable contents
2. start editing an already recorded transaction
3. after that, click on another transaction
4. dialog appears with 2 checkboxes "remember my answer and don't ask me again"
5. redo what you did and notice dialog reappears.

Actual results:
The dialog asking if I want to save the changes I made to an existing
transaction appears repetitively.

Expected results:
Once the checkbox "remember my answer and don't ask me again" (both options,
session and forever) the dialog should not pop up again.

Does this happen every time?
yes.

Other information:
can be quite annoying, specially if you don't know you can hit enter to save
your transaction.

What version? I can't reproduce with r13711.
Comment 2 Flavio 2006-03-31 00:03:39 UTC
frankly, can't reproduce it with 13702, but that was 136xx something, maybe it's fixed?
