Please describe the problem:
gnome-terminal --tab
gnome-terminal --tab-with-profile=xy
gnome-terminal --tab-with-profile-internal-id=1

These commands open a new terminal, but no tab is opened as described in the
manual-page or when you type gnome-terminal --help

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a terminal
2. type gnome-terminal --tab
3. type gnome-terminal --tab again... 


Actual results:
no tab is opend in one of the existing terminal-windows

Expected results:
A new tab is opened in an existing terminal-window.

Does this happen every time?
yes

I can replicate this on Fedora Core 4 and 5.
