I'm using gcalctool without GNOME support on a handheld device.  However --without-gnome doesn't mean without GConf, so not installing schemas isn't the right thing to do (noticed as the rules are broken when --without-gnome).

Attaching a patch to always install schemas, as GConf is always used.

Thanks Ross. Changes checked into CVS HEAD. Version number
in configure.in bumped to 5.8.1.
