Please describe the problem:
When editing in text mode, if you type a tab, you'll see a small square.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to gtkhtml/components/html-editor.
2. Run test_editor.
3. Choose Format, don't choose "HTML mode".
4. Enter a tab.


Actual results:
A small square appears.

Expected results:
The cursor goes to the next horizontal tab position.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Only for gnome with version higher than 2.12.x
