GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 334921
Support zoom in/zoom out
Last modified: 2006-03-22 09:48:32 UTC
It should be possible to run totem full screen with an option to not scale up video that is less than full screen resolution. Thus one could view a low resolution web video at its native resolution, centered on a black screen. It would look OK, as opposed to having it look terrible scaled up over the whole screen. Thanks!
You can already zoom in and out, using R/T with the xine-lib backend. Which backend are you using?
I'm using gstreamer 0.8.10 backend. I have to use some gstreamer specific plugins. I thought this might be a simple UI issue rather than a backend feature. I was going to take a stab at some code but I can't get totem to run from my build directory. Just get a window "Totem could not startup. Failed to create a GStreamer play object..." Is there any developer documentation?
Technically more or less the same as #171916 (s/videocrop/videobox/) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 171916 ***
