Description Martin Pitt 2006-03-16 17:25:50 UTC
When unmounting removable devices with the drivemount applet, the user should be notified when it's safe to actually unplug the device. This has been discussed at length in gnome bug 313639, https://launchpad.net/bugs/32643, and https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13169

Ubuntu patch

This is the patch we use in Ubuntu, FYI. It's pretty similar to the nautilus patch in bug 313639, it just requires some more intrusion because of the already existing mount callback argument.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-applets/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
