GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 334242
eats 100% cpu and all available memory (>1 gig) and more on powerpc
Last modified: 2006-03-12 13:49:35 UTC
Please describe the problem: Ekiga has severe memory leak on fedora core 5 test3 platform (probably only on powerpc platform) and eats all cpu and memory. However, calls go through succesfully Steps to reproduce: 1. install fedora core5 test3. 2. optionally yum update ekiga 3. run it, call sip (I used GSM codec), get 100% cpu, and >1 gig memory allocated 4. kill it Actual results: you can succesfully use it, but until it eats all memory and CPU, it slows down Expected results: not more then 512M of memory Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
How old is your ekiga snapshot ? I think a similar bug report some time ago was fixed...
ekiga-1.99.1-2.ppc.rpm from fedora devel tree. I think this is BETA2?
Wouldn't you be using it with sipnet.ru or something similar?
Yes I am using it with sipnet.ru
Then it is a dup of #330518. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 330518 ***
