Description Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2006-03-01 17:51:41 UTC
1. Open a page
2. Press /
3. Type some letters
4. Press tab to focus "Find previous"

Expected:
5. "Find previous" button is focused

Actual:
5. Find bar disappears
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2006-03-01 18:00:40 UTC
THis is a general problem with any entry in any toolbar. In toolbars, focus is moved with left/right arrow keys; tab focuses the next element in focus chain after the toolbar.
Comment 2 Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2006-03-01 18:07:01 UTC
Left/right are reserved for text editing in this case...
Comment 3 Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2006-03-01 18:07:28 UTC
Btw, is the find toolbar accessible in its current state?
Comment 4 Reinout van Schouwen 2006-03-02 19:51:51 UTC
Cursor keys may be reserved for text editing, but why not move focus to the Find Previous button if the right cursor key is pressed when the cursor is at the last position of the textfield?

Apologies for spam... ensuring Sun a11y folks are cc'ed on all current accessibility bugs.

What about mnemonics on the Previous/Next buttons in the findbar?
Comment 7 Alexandre Franke 2013-12-16 15:39:22 UTC
The find toolbar has been redesigned and the new one allows to go to the previous/next buttons with tab. Closing this as obsolete.
