Description Johan (not receiving bugmail) Dahlin 2006-02-23 14:00:06 UTC
There seems to be some missing documentation on how to make an element seekable.

The use case is someone, that just written his/her first element and wants to make it possible to seek in the element. Currently the developer has to read some text files in the docs/design and/or look at some of the existing elements in -base/-good which has implemented seeking in a proper way.

The plugin writers guide is probably a good place to put this in.

It's surely valid, but not really actionable. And the docs have been revamped in the past 12 years since this bug was opened :)
