Licensing issues / GPL'd file

According to file headers, the following file is licensed under the GPL: libgnomevfs/gnome-vfs-mime-monitor.c As I understand it, this goes against the policy of making all libraries LGPL. Some programs using gnome-vfs will violate the license if they aren't under a GPL-compatible license.
Thanks for bringing this up, good catch! I'm milestoning this to 2.14 and pushing its priority. Looks like none of the eazel authors can be reached by email. If anybody is able to get in touch with them, please do so.
Christian I didn't get your E-mail; but of course it goes without saying that any Novell contribution here was intended to be under the LGPL, and so any contribution of ours should be licensed accordingly. Thanks.
