GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 332258
-s/--startdir and -t/--startdir2 do not appear to be working
Last modified: 2006-03-28 02:39:12 UTC
Please describe the problem: gnome-commander -s <dir> and many combinations thereof (-s<dir> -s"<dir>" --startdir<dir> --startdir=<dir> --startdir="<dir>", etc, etc) does not change the inital panes. Regardless of switches, gnome-commander always appears to start up in the users home directory. Steps to reproduce: 1. gnome-command -s <anydir> does not start with proper <dir> in left pane. 2. It appears similar for the right pane (ie, -t) 3. Actual results: Gnome-commander appears to work fine except one cannot change the inital panes. Expected results: The panes to be set to the directory flagged by the switches. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: Nope.
This happens under both bash and csh.
