GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 33058
gmc and gnomecc
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: control-center Severity: normal Version: 1.0.51 >Synopsis: gmc and gnomecc >Class: sw-bug Distribution: Red Hat Linux release 6.2 (Zoot) System: Linux 2.2.16-3 i586 unknown C library: glibc-2.1.3-21 C compiler: egcs-2.91.66 glib: 1.2.6 GTK+: 1.2.6 ORBit: ORBit 0.5.0 gnome-libs: gnome-libs 1.0.55 gnome-core: gnome-core-1.0.55-12 >Description: I don't know the relationship between these two processes. But I'd like to report both of them. Firstly, gmc: Every time gnome starts up, a window pops up says "If I would like to rmove the gmc program or wait.", I used to have to kill the gmc process manually so the system doesn't crash. Later I remove the gmc program from my startup program and it works fine, except the convenient menu on my desktop disappears. So I think it might be considered as bug to report here. Secondly: gnomecc, while I was changing the screen preference, a window pops up says gnomecc is crashed and that it. Hope it can be solved soon. Cheers Debugging information: (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... (no debugging symbols found)...0x404de8c9 in wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
