Last modified: 2006-02-22 20:56:27 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. Do lots of searches with beagle-live enabled. It takes some messing around to reproduce. Stack trace: /usr/lib/deskbar-applet/deskbar-applet:103: Warning: invalid uninstantiatable type `guchar' in cast to `BeagleRequest' gtk.main() /usr/lib/deskbar-applet/deskbar-applet:103: Warning: instance of invalid non-instantiatable type `guchar' gtk.main() /usr/lib/deskbar-applet/deskbar-applet:103: Warning: g_signal_emit_valist: assertion `G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed gtk.main() Other information: Version of beagle used: beagle-cvs
I think this isn't bound to deskbar-applet, burather in libbeagle or the python bindings. Reassigning
What deskbar and beagle versions?
(In reply to comment #2) > What deskbar and beagle versions? > Sorry for the late answer. I've upgraded from Breezy to Dapper and haven't come accross this problem yet. I'll leave as NEEDINFO. For the record, versions used WAS: Ubuntu Breezy, beagle-cvs, deskbar-cvs as of 2.5.2006.
Ok, since upgrading to dapper this problem has not occured, so I'm changing to status.
