Description Sushma Rai 2006-02-02 12:16:44 UTC
When the CamelProviderConfType is of the type CAMEL_PROVIDER_CONF_CHECKSPIN,
and it is enabled by default, the account URI will not have that value.

For example Exchange account, has 2 such configuration entries in the receive
options page,
1. "Limit Number of GAL responses" with default value 500 and
2. "Password Expiry warning period" with default value 7.

And the URI for the account, after the account creation will be
exchange://domain%5cuser;auth=NTLM@host/;owa_url=https://host/exchange;save-passwd=false;mailbox=user;owa_path=/exchange;ad_server=host
which does not contain any of these 2.

Only if the user, un-checks and checks or changes the default values of these two options, URI will have these parameters. exchange://domain%5cpnayak;auth=NTLM@host/;passwd_exp_warn_period=7;ad_limit=500;ad_server=host;owa_path=/exchange;mailbox=user;save-passwd=false;owa_url=https://host/exchange

Not sure if this bug has been filed already.

Bumping version to a stable release.

I think this is a valid one. I remember Akhil mentioning to me that the options do not stick.

I am not worried about the password expiry bug since "Change Password" does not work anyways, but limiting the GAL responses is very much needed.

Updating the version and marking for GNOME3.

We no longer stuff options into a URI string as of Evolution 3.5.3, thank goodness. Closing this as OBSOLETE.
