Description Poornima 2006-02-02 11:55:40 UTC
While saving an appointment from personal to some other calendar, select 'B'day & anniversaries'.
A UI poppped up as shown in attachment, which has been implemented and removed in evolution 2.2 due to many issues.

uhm, that dialog is also a HIG violation.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2006-06-29 12:34:29 UTC
this only happens with recurring appointments, but still in 2.7.3.

does not matter which option to choose, it ends up in the "not writable" error. so the first error should be completely removed.

should be pretty straightforward to fix, srini: nosip?

Displays a read-only error when calendar option is chosen

Displays a message when the calendar option is chosen .

Here a suggestion is to disable the save button . Afer the message is displayed .
Comment 5 André Klapper 2007-05-15 14:55:31 UTC
good, and that error id is already defined in calendar.error.xml.

nevertheless, i have recompiled evo with ebby's patch and it does not work for me. :-(
