Description Bruce Bertrand 2006-02-01 04:58:56 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When viewing a calender that is an .ics file with dates stored in UTC,
the date of a repeated object can differ if the offset for the local
timzone causes the event to begin on a different local date than its UTC
date.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set Evolution's timezone to America/New_York (UTC -5 hours)
2. Create an iCal file with an event that begins on a Friday at 12:30 am
UTC and repeats every Friday
3. Import the calendar file into Evolution

Actual results:
Initial event displays as 7:30 pm on Thursday, as expected.
Subsequent repetitions display as 7:30 pm on Wednesday

Expected results:
Repeated events should occur on Thursday.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
