evolution writes from right to left
Last modified: 2006-01-27 01:13:46 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) Package: GtkHtml Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.12.1 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: evolution writes from right to left Bugzilla-Product: GtkHtml Bugzilla-Component: Editing Bugzilla-Version: unspecified Description: Description of Problem: I have one email in my evolution email client. If I reply to this email and point my cursor on the first line, the text gets written from right to left. The typed character moves to the right position of the cursors while the cursor remains in row 1, column 1. The email I was replying to comes from Spain. A friend wrote me an email from her Yahoo web mailer account and copied a Spanish web page from www.easyjet.com (some booking information) into that email. The email consists of two or three mime part, the first is text/plain and the second is text/html with a lot of POST data (third is a yahoo footer). Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open the specific email in evolution 2. click on reply 3. start to write in the first row How often does this happen? with that particular email: reproducibly always. no other mail. especially no mail from that sender. Additional Information: I could provide the mail, but since it is a personal mail, I don't want to post it into public. Contact me per PM. ------- Bug created by bug-buddy at 2006-01-26 23:28 -------
