Description Róman Joost 2006-01-26 20:21:57 UTC
To make it easier for beginners accessing our introductionary contents, it'll be nice if the help browser can have something like a bookmark feature. There are predefined bookmarks set which link to the basic tutorials.

We should also think of a better structure maybe which makes it easier for new users to lookup the introductionary content.

Isn't it way more useful to have these links in the Help menu instead of in the helpbrowser? Especially since only a small subset of users is actually using the help browser? If you want the tutorials to be in the menus, just change webbrowser.scm.

Sounds like a nice idea. I'll try that.

Roman, you changed the webbrowser script, didn't you? Why is this report still open then?
Comment 4 Róman Joost 2006-02-03 13:10:53 UTC
I still want to discuss the bookmarks on our mailinglist. Maybe there are bookmarks which can be added or should be removed.

No response so far. I think we can resolve the bug as FIXED.
