I've had this happen with various files -- I'm attaching a screenshot example.
There's no application shown in the crash dialog or backtrace, but from the PID:

Nautilus restarts after the crash. Note that the default behavior of opening the
home directory in a nautilus window after a crash means I had to be quick in
closing it again before another thumbnail crashed it again!
