Please describe the problem:
I can't save my image file in ".XCF".
But it's ok when I choose ".GIF" to save.
My OS is Windows XP home Zh-tw (Traditional Chinese)

This is the screen of the Bug:

Please read the FAQ, it has the solution to this problem in it. Resolving as DUPLICATE. (Please note that you apparently did not specify a file format, the filename should end in .xcf or the file format should be selected explicitely.)

Dear Simon,

I am here for your generous reply. I got success when I added ".xcf" in the end of the file name. Two things make me excited:
1.GIMP is as amazing as photoshop, and it's free.
2.Friends help so rapidly to make me have faith in GIMP.
