Description George Reeke 2006-01-13 18:57:58 UTC
Please provide a mechanism whereby the user can map any desired keystroke
to any evolution function that can reasonably be executed by a single
key command, i.e. anything that is on the current keyboard shortcut
list and appropriate future features when available.
Comment 1 George Reeke 2006-01-13 19:01:02 UTC
(I would have filed this under UI, but the menu said "don't use".
Why is UI on the menu if you can't file under it?)
Comment 2 André Klapper 2006-01-15 18:59:28 UTC
george: because "UI" component was mostly used by bug reporters in a totally wrong way and it became too much work to reassigning it all the time, so we decided to drop it entirely. :-/
i admit that in your case UI would have been correct if it still existed - just use "miscellaneous" and the "usability" keyword instead. :-)

anyway, this particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system as bug 239628, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. thanks in advance.
