Description Stephane Raimbault 2006-01-04 14:06:09 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In UserPreferences, some help says 'Utilisez NomPrénom' in one place and
'Utilisez PrénomNom' in another (french translation). The right one is
'Utilisez PrénomNom', where I can change this ?

I tried http://live.gnome.org/UserPreferences?action=edit. My UserPreferences
screen is in french but when I use 'Edit' I see the english version so I don't
know how to edit the french content.

Steps to reproduce:
1. UserPreferences screen in french
2. Opens http://live.gnome.org/UserPreferences?action=edit
3. You see the english version :

##language:en
[[UserPreferences]]

....

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
Yes

There is a new version of the wiki available. Can you please check whether the bug is still bugging?
Comment 2 Stephane Raimbault 2006-03-07 22:10:17 UTC
The difference between 'Utilisez NomPrénom' and 'Utilisez PrénomNom' is fixed.

But I still see the english version in edit mode:

##language:en
[[UserPreferences]]

and the combo to select 'Prefered language' doesn't seem to display correctly UTF-8.

If you like you can fix such things in MoinMaster (this is the root wiki of MoinMoin) for next versions. For more infos look at http://moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de/FrenchTranslation. They edit translations in MoinMaster directly that is then fixed in next version.

It is also possible for everybody who is in MoinPagesEditorGroup (http://live.gnome.org/MoinPagesEditorGroup) to edit SystemPAges in our wiki.

Maybe some people should volunteer to get listed? You can list me, also.

I think this might rather be a bug that can be solved by the Moin Developers. As I can not understand french Its hard for me to test this. But if you have any questions how to contribute to Moin.

The important point is name order:
The difference between 'Utilisez NomPrénom' and 'Utilisez PrénomNom' is
  fixed.

so I closed the bug and sent an email to french translators for the other part.

Jean-Philippe Guérard, MoinMoin's french translator, says to connect to SystemPagesSetup as administrator and to download French.zip.

The current french translation is a bit old, august, 2003.
