GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 325763
omf file for evolution documentation has wrong category
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:58:31 UTC
Forwarded from: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=21172 The evolution documentation appears under Applications, but in my opinion it should be in Applications -> Internet. This effect can be achieved by modifying the category line in the file /usr/share/omf/evolution/evolution-2.4-C.omf so that it reads: <subject category="GNOME|Internet"/> I would also recommend giving it a more user-friendly <title>, including what the application does, rather than just its name. For example: <title> Guide to using the Evolution email client </title> This _could_ be done upstream, but I am unsure about whether they would be prepared to do that. In any case, please do it in Ubuntu. Thanks, Matt
Are you willing to fix this bug? I'm happy to do a patch if you point me to the relevant cvs module or whatever. It is about the easiest fix ever
it's in /evolution/help/C/evolution-C.omf, i just poked to get an OK for this.
fixed in cvs: http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/evolution/help/C/evolution-C.omf?r1=1.13&r2=1.14 fix will be included in 2.5.6. thanks for pointing on this and your patience. :-)
Rock, thanks very much. Now to try and get evolution/help ported to gnome-doc-utils so that it can be translated...
