GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 324937
handle opening multiple files at once
Last modified: 2005-12-24 16:25:28 UTC
1- select a bunch of audio files or videos in a folder 2- press enter to "open" them. 3- totem will create an instance of itself for each file, major crashing ensues (depending on what you want to open). Totem should just create a playlist from these files. NEVER open more than once. This could solve the issue of "creating a quickie playlist" for newbie, because currently the quickest way is opening only one file and adding the rest by drag and dropping to the playlist. It could be made much easier by just opening "all the files at once" and that Totem manages them. I don't know if it's feasible though.
