be.po has DOS line endings which breaks build
Last modified: 2006-03-02 17:59:11 UTC
The build gives lots of warnings and then an error: WARNING: Syntax at line number: 868, Missing ", ignored WARNING: Syntax at line number: 868, Missing " at EOL, ignored WARNING: the string after closing " is ignored at line number 873. Error, No space after directive at line number 874. ERROR: Exiting... make: *** [be.gmo] Error 2 dos2unix on the file fixes it.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This bug report isn't very useful because it doesn't describe the bug well. If you have time and can still reproduce the bug, please read http://bugzilla.gnome.org/bug-HOWTO.html and add a more useful description to this bug.
alfredoj69: Damien's description is complete and fully sufficient; he identified the relevant errors and even the fix.
Thanks, I've fixed it.
I'd rather have translators fix this, so they are aware of the problem. In this case, reassigning to product "l10n"/"Belarusian (be)" was the right thing to do. This way, they may re-introduce the error on their new update. (I am adding our current Bugzilla assignee for Belarusian to CC list as well)
