Description Patrick OCallaghan 2005-12-14 23:00:05 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 4 (Stentz)
Package: Evolution
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.0 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: View->Message Preview moved to unusable combo
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
View->Message Preview used to be on Ctrl-M, which was fine. Now it's on
Ctrl-Alt-V, which is unusable under KDE.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Hit Ctrl-Alt-V under KDE
2. Stare at Klipper (clipboard tool) in frustration
3.

Actual Results:
Brings up Klipper (KDE clipboard tool)

Expected Results:
Open/close message pane

How often does this happen?
Always

Additional Information:
(Using KDE 3.5)
This accelerator has changed several times in the past. In an earlier
version it was on Ctrl-', which makes life difficult for people with
dead-key accents and non-US keyboards. Ctrl-M was a good solution and we
all breathed a sigh of relief. Now it's broken again :-(
